NADRA is seeking a senior audit leader for the Head of Internal Audit position at its Headquarters in Islamabad:

• Head of Internal Audit (maximum age 55 years; 5 years general age relaxation already included in the age limit)
• Educational background: Chartered Accountant (ICAP/ICAEW) / ACCA / ACMA, or a Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting or a related field from an HEC-recognized university, with degrees attested by HEC
• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in internal audit, risk management, governance, compliance or financial controls, with at least 5 years in a Senior Internal Audit Leadership position
• Proven experience in leading and managing internal audit functions in large public-sector, corporate, financial or technology-driven organizations
• Strong understanding of the International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF), Internal Auditing Standards, COSO Internal Control Framework, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and corporate governance principles
• Experience of reporting to board-level committees and executive management
• Internal audit certifications such as CISA, CIA or equivalent will be preferred
• The role covers leading NADRA’s internal audit function, risk-based audit planning, financial, operational, IT, forensic, performance and compliance audits across all NADRA offices, and coordination with external auditors and regulators

Executive Director / Director General – N@DIR

NADRA is seeking a technology and research leader to head N@DIR, the National Institute for Demographics and Identity Research, being established as a specialized national research and technology institute under NADRA:

• Executive Director / Director General – N@DIR (maximum age 55 years; 5 years general age relaxation already included in the age limit)
• Educational background: Master’s/MS/MPhil degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Cybersecurity, Biometrics, Computer Vision, Digital Identity, or a closely related discipline from an HEC-recognized institution, with degrees attested by HEC
• Preference will be given to candidates holding a Ph.D. or doctorate degree
• Additional qualifications in biometrics, AI/ML, cybersecurity, digital identity, applied cryptography, technology management or related fields will be an advantage
• Minimum 15 years of relevant post-qualification experience, including substantial senior leadership experience in technology, research, engineering, biometrics, digital identity or high-assurance ICT systems
• Demonstrated experience of leading large-scale R&D, technology innovation or engineering programmes, including research, prototyping, independent testing, benchmarking, pilot deployment and technology transfer
• Experience in standards, certification, conformance testing or technology evaluation will be highly desirable; experience in intellectual property, technology transfer and commercialization will be an advantage
• The role covers strategic, scientific and institutional leadership for N@DIR, a national research programme in biometrics and digital identity, development of Pakistan-owned AFIS/ABIS and biometric technologies, and building a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers

Assistant Director (Database Security)

NADRA is seeking an information security professional for the Assistant Director (Database Security) position at its Headquarters in Islamabad:

• Assistant Director (Database Security) (maximum age 37 years; 5 years general age relaxation already included in the age limit)
• Educational background: Bachelor’s (4 years) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Information Security, or Electrical/Electronics Engineering (with relevant IS certifications), or equivalent in a related field from an HEC-recognized university, with degrees attested by HEC
• Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in a reputable organization, in either Information Security, Information Technology, Database Administration or Network Device Administration
• Certification or badge in any IBM Security product or equivalent shall be preferred
• Information security certificates such as CySA+, Data+ or equivalent shall be preferred
• The role covers database activity monitoring and protection using IBM Guardium appliances and agents, database incident monitoring and evaluation, data discovery and classification, privileged user activity auditing, backup, disaster recovery and data protection, and cybersecurity controls for on-premises and cloud-based databases

Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications

• The age limits are 55 years for the Head of Internal Audit and the Executive Director / Director General – N@DIR, and 37 years for the Assistant Director (Database Security); 5 years general age relaxation is already included in these age limits
• Qualification requirements are: Chartered Accountant (ICAP/ICAEW) / ACCA / ACMA or Master’s in Finance/Accounting or related field for Head of Internal Audit; Master’s/MS/MPhil in the listed technology disciplines (Ph.D. preferred) for Executive Director / Director General – N@DIR; and a 4-year Bachelor’s in CS/IT/Cyber Security/Information Security or Electrical/Electronics Engineering (with relevant IS certifications) or equivalent for Assistant Director (Database Security) — all degrees must be from HEC-recognized universities and attested by HEC
• Experience requirements are: minimum 15 years progressive experience with at least 5 years in Senior Internal Audit Leadership for Head of Internal Audit; minimum 15 years relevant post-qualification experience including substantial senior leadership for Executive Director / Director General – N@DIR; and minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in Information Security, IT, Database Administration or Network Device Administration for Assistant Director (Database Security)
• Employees serving in Government or Semi-Government departments must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of interview (for the Assistant Director position, the NOC must be provided or attached at the time of submission of application)
• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test and interview
