The National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST), Pakistan’s top-ranked engineering and technology university, has opened online registration for the NUST Entry Test (NET) Series-1 for Fall 2027 undergraduate admissions. Registration opened on 4 October 2026 and the last date is 14 November 2026. The computer-based tests will start from 17 November 2026 at the NUST H-12 campus, Islamabad.
NET is held in multiple series during the year, and a candidate can appear in more than one series — the best score is counted for merit. Appearing in Series-1 does not close your options: you can appear again in the next NET series and your better score counts.
Seats in NUST programs are filled on merit made from NET score and your academic record, as per the formula given on the admissions portal.
Apply only through the official NUST portal. Never pay any academy or agent for “guaranteed” NUST admission — there is no such thing.
NET Series-1 is the earliest and safest route into NUST Fall 2027 admissions. Register online before 14 November 2026, take the computer-based test at H-12 Islamabad from 17 November, and keep the later series in hand to improve your score if needed.
