The Vacancies
WAPDA has allocated all three advertised positions to District Lahore quota. Candidates should therefore have the required local domicile for the relevant quota before applying.

The largest share of vacancies is for Naib Qasid, with eight posts. One position each is available for Waiter/Bearer and Mali.
Who Can Apply?
The advertisement limits eligibility to local domiciled candidates according to the quota specified for each post. For these vacancies, the stated quota is District Lahore.
For the Naib Qasid and Mali positions, Matriculation is the stated educational requirement. The Waiter/Bearer position requires Matric along with two years of relevant experience in a restaurant, hotel or government institution.
The stated age range is 18 to 30 years. The general five-year age relaxation has already been included in this range.
Additional relaxation is available under the conditions specified by WAPDA:
- 3 years for candidates belonging to minorities.
- Up to 10 years for Government/WAPDA employees who have completed two years of continuous regular service by the closing date.
- WAPDA employees working on daily wages, contingent or Budget Estimate arrangements receive special relaxation based on their years of WAPDA service, according to the advertisement.
- Age relaxation can be claimed in one category only.
- Age will be calculated on the closing date for applications.
What WAPDA Says About the Recruitment
These are regular WAPDA appointments, with the initial appointment placed on one year of probation. Regularization will be subject to satisfactory performance.
WAPDA states that services may be dispensed with without notice if work or conduct is found unsatisfactory during the probation period.
The recruitment process has two main stages. CTS will conduct the written test, while WAPDA will conduct the interview.
Candidates already working in WAPDA must obtain an NOC from their respective formation before the closing date of the advertisement. Original documents must also be presented at the interview.
Documents and Test Fee

- Domicile certificate
- CNIC
- Relevant documents/experience certificate, where applicable
- Two recent passport-size photographs
- Original fee challan
The CTS test fee is Rs. 170. Candidates can pay the fee at any branch of Bank Alfalah, UBL, MCB or Bank Islami using the prescribed bank challan available through the CTS website. The advertisement also allows payment directly into the CTS bank account through banking applications, with the payment receipt attached to the application.

CTS will inform candidates through text message when roll number slips are available for download. Applicants are advised to regularly check the testing agency’s website rather than relying only on SMS notifications.
Application Deadline and Important Conditions
The advertisement instructs candidates to apply through CTS within 15 days of publication. The listed closing date is 29 August 2026.
Applications that are incomplete, contain incorrect information or arrive after the due date will be rejected. WAPDA also states that any information found to be bogus at any stage during induction or later service can result in termination.
WAPDA reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts or cancel/withhold the recruitment process at any stage without assigning a reason.
