Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications
Education: A four-year Bachelor’s degree or a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Computer Software Engineering, duly recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) — the same requirement applies to all three posts.
Experience: At least two years of experience in the relevant field is required for every post.
Age limit: 21 to 33 years, and the general five-year age relaxation is already included in this range.
No further age relaxation is allowed, except for candidates belonging to scheduled castes and Buddhists, who are allowed three years of age relaxation.
Government servants and WAPDA / DISCOs employees who have completed two years of continuous government, WAPDA, or DISCOs service on the closing date may apply with an age limit of up to 43 years.
Candidates from all over Pakistan are eligible to apply on open merit.
Only candidates who have completed their required qualifications by the last date are eligible. Candidates whose final transcript, degree, domicile, or other certificates have not been issued by the last date will not be considered, and candidates awaiting results are not eligible to apply.
Candidates whose result cards or transcripts mention CGPA evaluation must obtain result cards or transcripts with marks in percentage from their HEC-recognized institution or university before applying.
Serving government employees must apply through the proper channel and must provide a departmental No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of the interview, clearly describing the date of appointment and the nature of their employment.
Appointments will be on contract with a lump-sum pay package for an initial period of three years, extendable on satisfactory performance, and the services of these contractual appointees will not be regularized at any stage.
Selected candidates will be required to perform duties within the jurisdiction of GEPCO.
Original documents, along with one set of attested photocopies, must be presented by the candidate at the time of the interview.
Dismissed or screened-out employees of any organization, and candidates with a criminal record, are not eligible for employment; clearance of character and antecedents from agencies or police will be mandatory.
No TA/DA will be admissible for the test or interview, and mobile phones will not be allowed inside the test center premises.
GEPCO reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts, or to withhold or cancel the recruitment process at any stage, without assigning any reason.
