Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department Jobs 2026 – Apply Before 5 November

The Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education (SHC&ME) Department, Government of the Punjab, has invited applications for Professor and Associate Professor posts in medical teaching institutions across Punjab. These are contract appointments, open to retired SHC&ME professors and associate professors as well as eligible candidates from the private sector and other organisations, with service up to a maximum age of 65 years. Job Details

• Advertisement: Published in October 2026 for appointments in medical institutions across Punjab.

Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications

Professor

• Who Can Apply: Retired Professors from the SHC&ME Department and eligible candidates from the private sector and other organisations.
• Qualification: Prescribed qualifications, teaching experience and research publications as per the applicable service rules of the specialty (MBBS plus relevant postgraduate qualification).
• Age Limit: Up to a maximum of 65 years.

Associate Professor

• Who Can Apply: Retired Associate Professors from the SHC&ME Department and eligible candidates from the private sector and other organisations.
• Qualification: Prescribed qualifications, teaching experience and research as per the applicable service rules of the specialty.
• Age Limit: Up to a maximum of 65 years.

General Requirements

• Documents: Attested copies of educational certificates/degrees, research papers, experience certificate, domicile certificate and CNIC must be attached.
• Application Mode: Email only — applications through any other mode will not be accepted.
• Eligibility Check: Candidates must fulfil the prescribed qualifications and experience conditions of their chosen specialty.
