Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications
The advertisement lays down the following qualification, experience and age conditions for the trainer posts. Every applicant must satisfy these conditions before sending the application:
- Qualification: BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Marketing, Media Studies, Graphic Design, Commerce, or any related discipline from an HEC-recognized university.
- Experience: 4 years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas: e-commerce operations (Daraz, Amazon, Shopify, Etsy, etc.); digital marketing & social media management; digital content creation; freelancing and online business management; graphic design and video editing. The candidate may also have experience in running online stores, digital sales and online product promotions; social media advertising (Facebook / Instagram Ads); YouTube channel management; content monetization; and digital media marketing.
- Age: 22 to 40 years. Age relaxation as per government policy has already been included in this age limit, and no further relaxation will be granted.
- The candidate should be a Pakistani National.
- Candidates already working in government, semi-government or autonomous bodies may apply through the proper channel from their respective departments along with an NOC.
- Only short-listed candidates fulfilling the above-mentioned criteria will be called for interview.
- Candidates shall produce original documents along with a set of attested copies of all the relevant documents at the time of interview.
- No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for the interview.
The experience condition is deliberately broad: the advertisement accepts professional work in any one or more of the listed areas, so a freelancer with four years of online selling, a digital marketer managing social media campaigns, a graphic designer, or a YouTube content creator can all qualify as long as the BS degree and four-year experience conditions are met. Applicants should make sure their experience is documented and verifiable, because the department will check the relevant documents at the interview stage.
How to Apply
The department is not accepting online applications for these posts. Follow these postal-application steps carefully:
- Prepare your application: Write your application mentioning the post “Trainers (Digital Literacy, Social Media, E-Commerce & YouTube)” and attach copies of your educational degrees, experience certificates, CNIC and other relevant documents.
- Address the envelope correctly: The applications must be delivered to the “Khud-Mukhtar Program cell” at DGSE, 31-Shershah Block, New Garden Town, Lahore. Applicants possessing the required qualification and experience may apply through post at 31-Sher Shah Block, New Garden Town, Lahore.
- Send it in time: Dispatch your application early so that it reaches the Khud-Mukhtar Program cell on or before 10 October 2026. The advertisement fixes 10-10-2026 as the last date for the submission of the application, and late applications will not be accepted.
- Government employees: If you are already working in a government, semi-government or autonomous body, route your application through the proper channel and attach the NOC from your department.
- Interview stage: Keep your original documents ready along with a set of attested copies, because candidates shall produce them at the time of the interview. Only short-listed candidates will be called.
Because this is a postal application, there is no application form to download and no portal to register on. The single most important step is to post the application to the correct address well before the deadline, and to write the program name on the envelope so it reaches the right cell.
Important Advisory: Applicants should never pay any fee or charges to any person or agent for recruitment against these posts. The official advertisement announces no application fee; the only legitimate way to apply is by post to the Directorate General of Special Education at 31-Sher Shah Block, New Garden Town, Lahore, addressed to the Khud-Mukhtar Program cell. Anyone demanding money in the name of this recruitment is committing fraud and should be reported.
